How Does Solar ATAP Work?

Solar Panels Generate Power
During the day, solar panels produce electricity from sunlight.

Mainly distribute to DB
Most of the solar power goes to the
consumer distribution box for direct home
usage (e.g. air conditioner, lights).

Remaining will be sent to Battery
The remaining of solar energy is stored
in the battery system for night use.

Excess Power Exported to Grid
Send extra solar power back to TNB
for energy credits.
STEP

Battery Discharges Stored Energy
At night, when solar panels are inactive,
the battery discharges power.
STEP
6
Power Routed to DB
The energy from the battery goes through
the inverter to the distribution board,
supplying electricity to home appliances.

7
Credit Offset in Bill
Exported power is credited to your
TNB bill, reducing monthly costs.
